About TheItalianVoice

Published by desiitaly

The Italian Voice” is written directly by an Italian young woman living in the boot-shaped peninsula.

This blog wants to be a reliable source about Italy and everything related to that Country, just because the owner was born and still lives there, she is a real Italian citizen and can report faithfully from her “station”.

It can touch different topics, from suggestions about trips and getaways to restaurant reviews, from life experiences to lifestyle, from cooking tips to national language and so on.

It is also open to host tourists’s tales, diaries, photos, videos and other experiences about Italy, no matter if they’re positive or not, we want to report everything about Italy without exceptions for democracy, so remember you can write with your proposal at the following email: desi.italy@yahoo.it .

Stay tuned and prepare yourself to discover everything about the Bella Italia.

    Hi Desi,

I live in FL, and would like one day to come to Italy where my mother was born. She was born in the spring of 1916 in medicino cosenza. My mom died this past August 14, 2008. She lived with me for 2 years. I want to honor her by making this pilgrimage to her village in southern Italy. Any suggestions would be appreciated very much. 14 de via de morte was her address. God bless you. Pam
